When he is swinging from building to building and fighting evil as Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire looks like a superhero. However, he did not always feel like he was on top of the world. Tobey endured a difficult childhood and a great deal of rejection before being noticed for his acting talent.
By going through difficult times, the young actor learned what was important. It was not becoming rich and famous; rather, it was doing the best he could and enjoying what he did. Once he realized that, his talent came through and he found himself swinging to new heights.
