Faerieground: #7 Two Mothers

Lucy has been taken to the Crows' nest. It's obvious that she's being held hostage, but for now, at least, the Crows are treating her kindly. As Soli, Jonn, Kheelan and Calandra head through the woods towards Lucy, Calandra's sickness gets worse.
No longer can Soli think of her birth mother as an evil queen who tried to destroy a faerie kingdom. Now, desperately ill in the woods, Calandra has become heartbreakingly human. And it's Soli's heart that's breaking.
