My Favourite Writer: C.S. Lewis

As a child, Clive Staples (C.S.) Lewis loved stories. With his brother Warren, he wrote stories about a placed called "Animal Land". Clive was imaginative, even as an adult. He always knew that one day he would write something important. Clive spent most of his adult life teaching at Oxford University and writing books for adults. While there, he met John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, who wrote Lord of the Rings. Both writers liked stories about people and animals living in mythical, far-off lands.
